Our Practice

Life is filled with suffering and also with many wonders. To touch life deeply, we practice meditation and mindful living to be fully present to what is available in the present moment. This we do through conscious breathing; "breathing in, I know I am breathing in, breathing out, I know I am breathing out". Conscious breathing is the key to uniting body and mind and bringing the energy of mindfulness into each moment of our everyday life. With our conscious breathing, we practice sitting meditation, walking meditation, bowing, chanting, tea meditation, and dharma discussions. In this way, we become more alive and more present to what we are doing and to those with whom we are sharing our time. We learn how to extend our practice into our daily lives to protect ourselves and those around us.

Sangha Support

To meet the needs for contribution and sustainability, the Sangha accepts donations from its members, visitors and community. We suggest a monthly $30 donation from regular members and accept any amount you joyfully give. We are committed to include everyone regardless of financial means.
