MPCH is sustained by the generosity and care of sangha members who offer their time and presence in service to the community. Our sangha does not rely on paid staff—rather, we practice service as a form of mindfulness, supporting one another so that our collective practice can flourish.
There are many ways to volunteer, whether quietly behind the scenes or more visibly during our gatherings. Opportunities include helping set up the meditation space before sangha, resetting the room afterward, supporting logistics and hospitality, serving as Bell Master, offering or facilitating a Dharma program, or assisting with technology for hybrid meetings.
No prior experience is required for most roles—training, guidance, and support are always provided. Volunteering is also a meaningful way to deepen your practice, cultivate connection, and help create the conditions for a welcoming and steady sangha.
If you feel called to serve, we warmly invite you to explore volunteering with MPCH. Together, through mindful service, we help sustain a refuge for practice, connection, and compassion in our community.
